1010 Flanders Building Permit Issued by City of Portland

January 9, 2017

On January 9, 2017 the 1010 Flanders project received a building permit (finally!!) from the City of Portland for improvements to this historic warehouse building located at 1010 NW Flanders in the Pearl District.

Upon completion of the work, estimated to occur in May 2017, the renovated 50,000 sf five-story building will be available for office users to complete tenant improvements and occupy the building.

The core and shell improvements include a rooftop deck with two fire pits and panoramic city views, a relocated primary building entry lobby, a bike friendly design (including extra-wide doors with auto-openers), ample bicycle storage, changing rooms, locker rooms with showers, a new elevator, and improved ADA accessibility.

The 1010 Flanders project is a joint venture partnership between an affiliate of Portland based Specht Development, Inc. and ASB Capital Management based in Bethesda, Maryland. ASB and Specht have been investing together in institutional quality real estate projects since 1988.
