Plans for the I-5 Logistics Center Moving Forward

With approval of the UGB expansion to include the 108-acre parcel in Woodburn, Oregon, Specht Development is working on plans for the I-5 Logistics Center project. Conceptual site plans have been completed to market the project as the largest industrial property between southwest Washington and Salem. Design concepts include a building as large as 1,676,800 square feet.

The site’s location just off of Interstate 5 adds to its value as a highly desirable logistics or manufacturing location. The City of Woodburn is very supportive of the project as it will provide excellent opportunities for job creation and economic growth in the area. Specht anticipates that the adoption of a master plan for the development, and the annexation into the city of Woodburn, should be complete by the first quarter of 2017.
