Specht Development was hired to manage the tenant improvement construction of McCormick & Schmick’s new corporate headquarters located in Portland’s Pearl District. The seafood restaurant company leased 19,285 SF of office space in the Machine Works building and will house a staff of more than 100 people.

The Machine Works building is a mixed-use office development incorporating four levels of Class A office space with a state-of-the-art LA Fitness facility and three levels of parking. The building is a LEED Gold certified and was developed by MachineWorks LLC.  The building, which was completed in January 2009, totals 112,000 square feet and had 70,844 square feet of office space available for lease before McCormick & Schmick’s signed their lease.
