OCHIN, a health technology group, provides data and information services to health professionals in rural and under-served communities.

Oregon Sports Medicine Associates, a privately held physician practice specializing in orthopedics, hired Specht Development, Inc. to oversee construction of their new 20,867 square-foot facility located in Tualatin, Oregon.

The facility, completed in early 2004, includes medical offices, state-of-the-art operating rooms and an ambulatory surgery center. Soderstrom Architects PC was the architect and P&C Construction was the general contractor.

The Park I-84 property is a light industrial facility located adjacent to the I-84 freeway in Gresham, Oregon. To accommodate a more diverse tenant mix, Specht Development was hired as the construction manager overseeing a wide range of improvements to update the facility. The improvements included new entries, full site redesign and re-roofing along with fire, electrical and other infrastructure upgrades.

This three-story Class A Office Building was completed in 1987. It was constructed with a steel frame and brick structure and provides an impressive environment for professional offices. The building is located in Vancouver, WA between I-5 and I-205 just north of the SR 500 and is convenient to many retail services, restaurants and hotels.

The project was developed while Gregory Specht was employed by Scherzer Partners, Inc. Specht resigned as President of Scherzer Partners, Inc. in November 1990.

Cornerstone Business Park

Cornerstone Business Park is an industrial development project situated on 20 acres in Hillsboro, Oregon. The project is located at the intersection of NW Evergreen Road and NW 264th. Cornerstone Business Park is in close proximity to the Hillsboro Airport and offers easy access to Highway 26. Features include secured yard space, HVAC in offices, and freeze protection in the warehouse space.

Specht Development was hired as a consultant to oversee the completion of building construction, utility connections and landscaping.

The entire site, totaling 4.06 acres is zoned for Office Mixed Use, is available for sale. The project site is located in the Tigard Triangle area with easy access to I-5.

Farwest Steel

The development of the Farwest Steel Service Center project was completed and ready for occupancy in early 2012. The design called for approximately 350,000 SF of manufacturing and distribution space along with an approximately 20,000 SF freestanding office building. Specht was hired by Farwest to manage all aspects of the project, from site selection through completion of construction.

After evaluating several sites in the region, property at the Port of Vancouver USA was ultimately selected. As part of the negotiations for the sale of Port land to Farwest (an action the Port has historically avoided) several long-term commitments related to job-creation and use restrictions were made. Numerous incentive programs, grants, tax credits, and alternative financing mechanisms were explored. The project provides employment for over 200 people in Clark County, at average wages of approximately $40,000, plus benefits.
