Specht Announces New Vice President of Construction

Hartson Headshot Cropped - News PageSpecht Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent addition of Chris Hartson as vice president of construction to the Portland-based real estate development and property management firm. Hartson will be responsible for supervising all aspects of Specht’s construction projects, including overseeing internal project managers and external vendors, as well as frequently communicating with clients. The Happy Valley, Ore. resident comes to Specht with more than 20 years of experience in construction and engineering.

Hartson came to Specht from Howard S. Wright where he worked for the past five years as a project executive. Prior to that, he worked for Skanska for 14 years as a senior project manager after three years spent as a field engineer for Charles Pankow Builders. Hartson is a certified Design-Build of America (DBIA) professional, a LEED Accredited Professional and a graduate of Oregon State University’s Construction Engineering Management program.
